Ordering

Most compounds are available in a range of quantities from 5 mg analytical reference vials up to 500 mg preparative quantities. Custom quantity requests above catalogue maximums may be accommodated, enquire with our sales team for availability and lead time.

  • 5 mg — Analytical reference / trace standard
  • 10 mg — Routine research quantity
  • 25 mg — Standard research lot
  • 50 mg / 100 mg — Preparative quantities
  • 250 mg / 500 mg — Bulk research lots

We regularly add to our public catalogue. If you require a specific standard not currently listed, submit a custom compound enquiry via our contact form. Include the CAS number, required quantity, purity specification, and your intended use. Our chemistry team will assess feasibility and provide a quotation and estimated lead time within five business days.

Compliance & Licensing

No. Aitrixa does not supply controlled substances under any circumstances. Our catalogue is limited exclusively to unscheduled analytical reference compounds. If a compound you require is subject to scheduling or controlled-substance regulations in any jurisdiction, we will not be able to fulfill that order.

To create a verified research account, you will need to provide at least one of the following:

  • Institutional affiliation letter on official letterhead
  • Copy of your current laboratory licence or permit
  • Proof of university or research centre enrolment
  • Company registration document (for commercial laboratories)

All documentation is handled in strict confidence and stored in compliance with applicable data-protection regulations. Verification is a one-time process per account.

Every order is subject to end-use screening by our compliance team. We maintain records of all transactions and cooperate fully with regulatory authorities in the event of any investigation. Orders that cannot be matched to a credible research purpose are declined without exception.

03

Documentation

Every compound is associated with a Certificate of Analysis (CoA) containing actual instrument data CoAs include:

  • HPLC chromatogram (area % method, ≥ 99.0% purity confirmation)
  • High-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) identity confirmation
  • Heavy metals screening: As, Cd, Pb, Hg by ICP-MS
  • Endotoxin testing (LAL method, where applicable)
  • Net weight and lot number
  • Analyst signature and QC approval date

A CoA for each compound is available to download from product pages.

Shipping

We ship within the United States. International shipping is accommodated on a case by case basis, please inquire via email or direct message.

Orders are fulfilled same business day when placed before 14:00 EST. Standard shipping timelines within the United States are 2–5 business days depending on destination. Express and overnight options are available at checkout for an additional fee.

All compounds are sealed in glass vials and packed in padded envelopes or cardboard boxes.  Light-sensitive compounds are packed in opaque secondary packaging.

Yes. A tracking number is emailed when your shipment is collected by the carrier. All shipments are fully trackable via our carrier partners. If you have not received tracking information within 24 hours of your dispatch confirmation email, please check your spam folder or contact us.

Technical

Purity is assessed by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) using an area normalisation method referenced against USP-grade primary standards where available. Identity is independently confirmed by high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS). Lots that do not meet the minimum specification — typically ≥ 99.0% — are rejected and destroyed; they are never downgraded or sold at reduced specification.

Storage requirements vary by compound and are specified on both the product page and the CoA. General guidance:

  • Most small-molecule standards — room temperature, desiccated, away from light
  • Retinoids, carotenoids — 2–8 °C, protected from light, inert atmosphere
  • Peptides and biologics — −20 °C, lyophilised, single-use aliquots recommended
  • Hygroscopic compounds — sealed under argon or nitrogen, desiccated

Compounds should be allowed to equilibrate to room temperature before opening to minimise moisture uptake.

Expiry dates are assigned on a per-compound, per-lot basis following stability studies and are printed on the CoA and vial label. Most stable small-molecule standards carry a 24–36 month shelf life when stored correctly. Shorter expiry periods apply to light- or oxygen-sensitive compounds. We recommend re-testing compounds that have been stored beyond their stated expiry before use in critical assays.

Wholesale & Bulk Orders

Yes. Wholesale pricing is available to accredited laboratories, distributors, and research institutions placing regular or high-volume orders. Discounts are applied on a tiered basis depending on annual order volume and compound mix. To discuss a wholesale arrangement, contact our sales team with an overview of your anticipated requirements.

Yes. We offer white-label products to wholesale customers. If you’re interested in carrying our compounds under your own brand, please contact our sales team to discuss available options, minimum order requirements, and documentation arrangements.
